Quality Standards and Organizational Self-Assessment for Distance Learning and Continuing Education Organizations

This online workshop will provide attendees with an overview of two quality models designed for organizational self-assessment of professional development and distance learning centers.

The first model comes from the IACEE (International Association for Continuing Engineering Education) Quality Program, an international collaboration of US and European institutions.

The second model comes from the Sloan Consortium.

Attendees will have the opportunity to complete the self-assessment tools for their organization, develop a plan for implementing the tools for continuous quality improvement, and consider the implications for benchmarking with peer organizations.
